Wanda K. Bryant (nee Perry) 63, affectionately known as ‘Kat’ or Kathleen, was born in Columbus, Ohio on January 2, 1958 to James and Betty. Kat was called home on May 6, 2021 after several months at the Winchester Care and Rehabilitation Facility. She was a graduate of Columbus East High School and attended Columbus State College and the Ohio State University. Kat worked for many years in the health care field as a state tested nurse’s aide. She was a lifelong learner and an avid reader. She loved spending time passing the day at the Columbus Metropolitan Library. Kat was also the ultimate junk food junkie! She was very passionate about her fast foods and Pepsi!
Wanda Kathleen is a special sister, aunt, niece and cousin who can never be replaced and will never be forgotten.
Kat is preceded in death by her beloved husband Lawrence J. Bryant, mother, Betty Felton, father, James L. Perry, brother, Delmar Felton, and sister, Avis Whaley. She is survived by brothers, Anthony (Lisa) Weber of Maryland, James (Kelly) Perry and Jamie Perry of Columbus. Sisters, Brenda (John) Whaley, Vanessa (Charles) Scales, Sylvia Davis, Renelle Bussey and Sabrina Perry, all of Columbus.
Kat is also loved and survived by 32 nieces and nephews including Delmar Jamil Whaley with whom she shared a special relationship, 57 great nieces and nephews, 3 great great nieces and nephews, as well as a host of uncles, cousins and friends. She will be greatly missed by all.
