William L. "Bill" Baker, age 70, of Marengo, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2026, at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, surrounded by his loving family.

Bill retired from the City of Westerville Electric Division in 2012 after many years of dedicated service. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family and friends were the center of Bill's life. He enjoyed spending time with those he loved and never missed an opportunity to support his children and grandchildren in their activities. A lifelong sports enthusiast, Bill loved watching soccer, football, baseball, and just about any sporting event, whether from the sidelines or on television. As a young man, he was highly athletic and always pushed himself to excel in everything he did.

Bill also found great joy in hunting, fishing, golfing, and playing cards with his lifelong friends. His sense of humor, adventurous spirit, and ability to make any gathering fun created countless cherished memories for those around him. Wherever Bill went, good times and laughter were sure to follow.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Karen; his children, Justin, Lindsay, Michele, Donny, Dezi, and Danielle; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He is also survived by his brother, John; his sisters, Laureli (Jeff), Susan (Tim), Lucie (Tom), and Beth (Roger).

Bill's legacy of love, friendship, laughter, and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered always.
