William E. Childs, age 90, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2018. WWII Marine Veteran. He is retired from Western Electric. Member of Linden Masonic Lodge and a Shriner. He is survived by his wife, Ginny of 71 years; son, William E. (Debbie) Childs Jr.; grandsons, Bryan (Brandi) and Kevin (Lori), 4 great grandsons, Brayden, Bryce, Liam and Killian. Family will receive friends Monday from 4:30-7:30 pm at THE SHAW-DAVIS FUNERAL HOMES, 4341 N High St., Cols. 43214, where funeral service will be held Tuesday 11:30 am with viewing beginning at 11 am. Interment Union Cemetery.
