Carl Stuart

Carl E Stuart of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, September 28th, 2019 at Grant Hospital in Columbus, Ohio at the age of 79. Carl was born in New York on May 29th, 1940.

Carl served in the US Navy from 1957 to 1963 and was a member of the American Legion 12th district, post 465. He served as the 12th district council Executive Secretary from 2009-2011 and was awarded Legionaire of the Year in 2011.  He was a current member of Post 532, under Post Commander and good friend Bernie Brogan and many others.

He is survived by his son Mark (Nicole), daughter Saundra (Brian) Tipple, and daughter Donna (Joe) Karoscik, 9 grandchildren Gracie Stuart, Callie and Lainey Coffman; Katrina and Derek Tipple; Lydia, Ethan (Maddie), Ben and Greta Karoscik, nieces and nephews his ex wife of 50 years of marriage, Connie. He also loved his dog named Beth.
