Doris graduated in 1970 from Corinth High School’s first graduating class after forced desegregation.  With a determined spirit, Doris attended her beloved Tougaloo College receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in English with cum laude honors in 1975.  She went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Administration from OSU.

Doris filled many roles in her career and ministry and impacted many lives, but the role she esteemed the most was being “Gramm” to the three loves of her life (her “Gramms”), who brought her such joy.

A special thank you to her friends and care givers at OSU Clayton Taylor Dialysis Center.

Out of respect for Doris’ wishes there will not be any services.  Cherish your memories of her as a parent, grandparent, sibling, cousin, Aunt, Tougaloo Alum, co-worker, and friend.
