John Gutmann

John Kenneth Gutmann, 58, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away in his sleep, Wednesday, January 5, 2022.

John was born December 26, 1963, in Columbus, Ohio, to Margaret and Roy Gutmann. He graduated from Bishop Ready High School and The Ohio State University. John was a devoted employee at State Farm for 31 years.

Buckeye at heart. He loved sports, especially basketball, and enjoyed watching any Ohio State game with his loved ones. He also enjoyed reading and spending time with his son, granddaughter (Abby), and Parents.

John is survived by his son, Neil Gutmann, parents Margaret & Roy Gutmann, Granddaughter Abigail Gutmann, Brother Tom Gutmann, and Sisters Kathy Kiefer, Julie Caton.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Muskoff, and grandparents Fred & Margaret Schubert.

A celebration of life service will be from 4–6:00 pm, Friday, January 14 at Shaw-Davis Funeral Home, 4341 N High St, Columbus, OH 43214.
