Joseph Kirby

Joseph “Joey” Clark Kirby, 38, went home to be with the Lord, July 2nd, 2020. Proceeded in death by Paternal Grandparents, Adrian and Betty (Fulkerson) Kirby, Maternal Grandparents, Ulner Lee and Dina (Vitali) Clark. Joey is survived by his most loved possessions, Daughters, Abby Gayle and Madelyne Violet Kirby. Loving Mother, Dawn S. (Clark) Kirby and Father, Keith Kirby of Grove City. Sister, Amanda M. Kirby (Ethan Schaffner) and niece, Sammy Inmon, of Grove City. Brother, Kendell L. Kirby and niece, Caylee Kirby, both of Grove City. Many thanks to our Yors and Doyle family, Kevin and Kim (Clark) Yors of Grove City, Jeff and Amber (Michael) Yors of West Jefferson, and Kristie (Yors) Doyle of Grove City. Special call out to the late Danny Doyle of Grove City for always loving Joey unconditionally and all the love and support from friends.

Joey loved his daughters more than life itself and was fortunate to watch both of them graduate high school and spend Father’s Day with them this year. Though he struggled with health issues, Abby and Madelyne always made him feel better. May you girls always remember the love that your dad will always have for you. Let his smile, funny jokes, nicknames, laugh and his faith in Christ remain in your hearts forever.

Joey was an animal lover and leaves behind his two cats, Thomas and Tigger. They will be well taken care of by his daughter, Abby, also an animal lover. We will also be making arrangements for Mama cat, the homeless outdoor cat that Joey took care of, fed and had fixed.

Many thanks to all the Doctors, Nurses and Care takers that helped Joey. Words cannot express the family’s gratitude for your expertise and guidance.

Most importantly, Joey was a follower and believer in Christ and our family thanks Jesus for saving him.
