Lee Kimmel

Lee Allen Kimmel, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Aug. 25, 2021 at the age of 52. He was born Aug. 3, 1969 to the late Marti and Glenn Kimmel. He is the youngest of two siblings, Glenn II (Kim) Kimmel and the late Eva (Jeff) Keeler. Lee was an avid sports fan and loved the Ohio State Buckeyes and the New York Giants. Lee lived a life of ups and downs but he spent his last year with the ones he loved, reconnecting with his son, Christopher (Noel) Kimmel, granddaughter Chaya and partner Dawn White. He took daily bus rides across town to spend as much time as he could with his mom during her last moments of life.

Services in his honor will be on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at the Shaw-Davis Victorian Village Chapel, 34 W. 2nd Ave, Columbus, Ohio 43201. The family will receive guests from 4 pm to 5 pm, with the memorial service beginning at 5 pm.
