Patina Tarzis

Patina Tarzis, born on February 18, 1960, in Whitehall, OH, passed away Wednesday, October 23 in Pataskala, OH, surrounded by loved ones.

Tina showed love to everyone she met through her cooking and her kindness. The only thing that brought her more joy than her family was doing a kind thing for someone else. Throughout the last 31 years of her life, she overcame multiple fatal diseases. Her repeated victories can be attributed to the strength she had since birth and the passion she had for her family.

She is survived by her sons Brandon Tarzis and Sean Wetzel, her brothers Bruce (Sherry) Thompson and Michael (Barbara) Pusz, her sister Becky (Rick) McGuire, her two granddaughters Emma and Amara Wetzel, and multiple nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother Patsy Thompson, father Mack Thompson, and sisters Debbie Conn and Donnie Pusz.

Patina's family would like to thank the staff at Tuscany Gardens and Bella Care Hospice for the love and care shown to her during her final days. She was blessed to have them.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 28 at 2 pm at Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
