Patricia Scott

Patricia “Star” Scott 84 passed away on April 6, 2022.  She was born on September 12, 1937.  She was born to Kenneth Straughter and Natalie Ferguson Straughter and was a graduate of East High School.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth (Capitola) and Natalie, sisters Margaret Ransom and Gail Talley, brother Victor Straughter and Granddaughter Brittani Lisa.  She is survived by sisters Nancie Ransom and Sharon (Alfred) Gooch, and brother Lharry Straughter; her five children, Richard Scott, Karmen Scott, Shawn Scott (Gina) Troy Scott and Staci King, five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Patti was a helper.  In her many years in the community service/social work field, she was always helping and giving to the community.  She loved her antiques and her flea market finds, going thrift shopping and going to outdoor festivals.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
