Obituary

Virginia Hurtado Both left this world peacefully at home with her family as sunlight and fresh air streamed into her room. Virginia never said a bad word about anyone. She made everyone she met feel welcome. Her generosity knew no bounds as she gave freely of herself to friends and strangers alike.

Virginia resided in Hilliard, Ohio. Living a century she was born October 16, 1920 in Toledo, Ohio to parents Pablo Hurtado & Lucille Flores. She left this earth on November 8, 2020. Preceded in death by husband Harvey William Both Jr. She attended DeVilbiss High School, Realtors License, Cosmetology License, Attended University of Toledo
Her employment included Champion Spark Plug, Dana Corp as a translator & Admin Assistant. The University of Toledo as Admin Assistant.
Places of Residence: Toledo, OH, Crossville TN, Hilliard, OH
Her hobbies and interests included travel, sewing, knitting, and her Venezuelan heritage.
Unusual Attributes: Over the years many people would comment to me “what a very special person my mother was”; it seemed strange at the time, because since I had been around her so long it just seemed her natural behavior. Now I realize what they saw.

She is preceded in death by spouse Harvey William Both Jr.; siblings Olga, Eva, and Alfred. Survived by her children David, (Alice) Both: James, (Deborah) Both; William, (Viannys) Both; grandchildren: Janee Gragg, Christopher Both, James Both II, Olivia Bennett, Sarah Both; great-grandchildren: Kallen, Kasen, Annie, Ellie, and Blaire; nephews & nieces: Andrea Trusty, Wendy Beerbower, Lynn Kujawski, Brad Hurtado,

A family graveside service was held Friday, November 13, 2020, at the Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery next to her husband. Eulogy and words of comfort by Robert Rutherford, officiant.

Words that sum up her life: Warm, welcoming, sweet, proper Hobbies, Interests: Travel, Sewing, Knitting, her Venezuelan heritage.
