A five star experience from beginning to end. I live in another town and had to make cremation and memorial service arrangements in Columbus , Ohio for my sister. I had no idea what all I needed to do or purchase. After searching in Google...Shaw-Davis was the only one that broke down everything needed & cost. They were so professional, kind and every detail was perfect. No high pressure sales and their locations are beautiful and comfortable. Several of the guest commented to me and ask how I found such a perfect place. I am a detail person and honestly can say...I cannot find one thing to even recommend they do differently. We chose the Clintonville location for easy access for out of town visitors.

The staff at Shaw-Davis was wonderful to work with and I would highly recommend their services. Everyone was very kind, we knew what we wanted and no pressure for anything more.

This was the first time I had to make burial arrangements alone for a loved one. I was from out of state and not familiar with services in Columbus, Ohio. I had not seen my sister for 6 months and she died unexpectedly, so I did not see her in her final days. Dan Kennedy arranged for me to see her briefly. I was expecting a steal table with a simple sheet draped over her. Dan prepared her and laid her in a temporary casket, well enough for me to spend 15 minutes alone with her. What a TRUE GIFT he gave me that day. I will never forget it or Daniel.

He was thoughtful, caring and comforting. His efforts were greatly appreciated. It was one of the most compassionate gifts I've ever received in my lift and made all the difference. He is to be commended!

We could always depend on Adam Shaw for our funeral needs now, and in the past for our family members. Adam came to our home approximately 3:30am after Emory to transport him to the funeral home. I will always cherish this memory. Adam did everything smoothly for me, and my family as he has always done in the past for other family members. Adam knew us; as we consider him as our friend. He is very caring, and kind, an all around good man!

I worked with the staff , on the telephone, from Florida. They were very helpful in answering my questions and also, working with other family members. P.S. My grandfather's service was at this same funeral home in 1978 or 1979 and it was very nice.

The excellent staff, the beautiful and intimate surroundings, made a difficult time much easier for me and my family. We were impressed by the staff’s attention to detail. My late husband’s funeral was on an extremely cold day that caused some of the floral tributes to wilt. The staff saw to it that the damaged ones were immediately replaced. I will recommend the Shaw-Davis Funeral home to all.
